Your Position

You can learn a lot about the Kingdom of God just by observing His creation.

During our relocation our Chihuahua doggie Davey and I were staying with friends whilst my husband already had moved to our new destination. At the time I noticed that Davey, who is now 5, had been taking some major maturing steps. For example he would no longer tolerate the neighboring golden retriever that was several times bigger than he is. Still inside he would know exactly when the dog stepped outside. Oh was Davey ever ready. He took off like a rocket when we opened the door for him and then he headed right along the fence, patrolling with much barking that spoke loud and clearly of his standpoint. Wow, I think Davey is quite the champion.

This is such a good picture of how we need to conduct our life as a warrior in the Kingdom of God.
First of all take note of the dog and the same applies to the devil. He has only been given a small area of operation. Secondly truth be known, the devil is defeated and our feet are set in a wide place! Folks, our position needs to be "VICTORY IN CHRIST", always. We have no need to fear or fight the enemy; we exercise our authority simply by declaration, proclamation and profession of faith.

Victory or defeat? It's up to you to choose but know the truth and the truth will set you free (John 8:32).

Blessings on you.

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8 NKJV).

"And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a wide place" (Psalm 31:8 NKJV).
