The victory is yours.


“But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed for ever. Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints, the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him" (Daniel 7:26-27).

Oh, did you realize what you just read in these verses above? Do you know that you are a saint of the Most High? You see, one day soon the Kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to His saints. And that includes you too! If you think about it, isn’t that just an amazing thought but at the same time also a little bit overwhelming?

Perhaps now you start to understand why your life is sometimes so difficult. It is because the Lord is preparing you for your eternal destiny. He is teaching you all about Kingdom principles. He is changing you into His image and He is imparting to you His sovereignty, power and greatness which you will need to rule and reign with Him one day soon.

I encourage you today to embrace all the challenges that come along your way. Remember the LORD is preparing you for His eternal mission and He is laying a solid foundation in your life. Your reward is to spend eternity alongside with Him. So rejoice about your glorious future and walk your life with the King of Kings as if you were already standing with Him in eternity.

I Am Unfailing

“Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness
(Lamentations 3, 22-23 NIV)".

One of the ways to learn all about God’s faithfulness is to observe His creation. I was able to witness this recently in our garden. I asked my husband if he thought that the Clematis plant would come back to life again this year. As he couldn’t see any evidence of it he concluded it had probably had died during the last winter. I was a little disappointed because I had enjoyed its beauty very much.

To my surprise I discovered one day that some leaves were springing forth at the spot where it was growing last year, but I was still not absolutely sure if it was a Clematis since the buds were still missing. I was just fascinated to watch it grow around the pole and clinging tightly on to it. As I stepped out into our garden one morning I was pleasantly surprised to discover the awakening of three gorgeous flowers. I took a closer look at them and was drawn by their stunning beauty and I also noticed that compared to last year they had in fact grown in size. Whilst I was pondering about this sudden exposure, I just couldn’t help but to think about God’s faithfulness and reliability, and that these verses in Lamentations were just so true.

Do you need something solid in your life? Do you need hope for another day? Today the LORD wants to reassure you of His faithfulness. He is the unfailing I AM and His goodness is never ending. It is available to you every single morning afresh. May this truth sink deep into your heart now and always be an anchor to your soul.

Look at the progress!

“Who despises the day of small things? Men will rejoice when they see the plumb-line in the hand of Zerubbabel (Zechariah 4:10 NIV)".

God is at work in your life, did you know that? He that has begun a good work in you will also accomplish it. The Lord desires to lay a good and solid foundation in your life. But because you look at your calling there is a good chance that you could despise the small beginnings. Perhaps you are thinking that you are taking “baby steps” and that they are not worth of any consideration. But you forget an important principle: each and every step is needed to climb the ladder.

Let’s be honest: It’s very difficult to take big steps in the Kingdom of God. It’s not Gods way anyway. He plants a seed and then he waits for it to grow. So trust me; you need to take these small ones. Little by little, step by step, day by day, week by week you will realize that you are standing on solid ground. This growth will give you such a confidence and enable you to build the Kingdom Gods way. I encourage you today to focus on the progress you are making and at the same time to hold onto your calling that is in your right hand.

And then listen to the Masters Voice saying to you: 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

“Listen To Me”

“Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God (John 6:68-69 NIV)".

My husband wanted a tree for our front yard so that it would in due time bear some shade for our house. So we went tree shopping and found a suitable one that was delivered to our house and transplanted into our yard. We were happy with this investment and like proud parents we were also looking forward to seeing the tree grow. After a couple of days though, we had to face a disappoint-ment as this tree was not growing properly. It was losing many leaves and we figured that the transplanting had caused a little shock to it. But in the days to follow its leaves even went yellow and then the wind came and detached many leaves from the branches. Now our tree looked very desolate and we were troubled about it and considered buying another one.

As I approached the tree one day all of a sudden I heard the LORD saying to me “Embrace it, have compassion and have patience.” On another occasion when I was very concerned for this tree the LORD spoke again to me saying, “Don’t look at all the dead leaves and don’t look at all the negatives. Look at the end of the branches and see if you can find some new life.” And sure enough, in the midst of all this dying I could recognize some new leaves that were springing forth! My hope for this tree was of course right there again and I prayed for it and praised the LORD for His wonderful plan.

Does this story remind you a little of your own life? You look at the all the negatives, and then you get discouraged and downcast and lose your hope? I tell you, stop right where you are and start to listen to the truth that will set you free. Embrace your situation by tuning in to God. Then begin to hear and see what He says and what He sees. I promise that these crystal clear words of eternal life from the Holy One of God will bring new life to you. You will grow strong in faith and you will call forth life to the dead, and call things that are not as though they were. That sounds like a great plan, doesn’t it!
